Finely Tuned has one mission to share with you my love and appreciation of gemstones. I began collecting rocks as a child scouting from the Boundary Waters-where my grandfather built a cabin-to the shores of Minnesota’s many lakes. My love of gemstones grew as I did and as I traveled across the country and the world. Travel introduced me to jewelry and textiles, interests that deepened even further when I attended the Tucson Gem and Mineral show over many years.
My other love is the world of healing. As a trained Holistic Health Practitioner and working Massage Therapist at the Hotel del Coronado and in private practice for more than 30 years, I’ve also found ways to integrate my passions. By using gemstones to heal the energy centers of our bodies, known as chakras, clients are able to experience a modality used for thousands of years.
These decades of experience come together in the offerings you’ll find in these pages. Finely Tuned showcases the extraordinary beauty of gemstones while also enhancing the wearer with their vibration.
I’ve been able to share my loves with Carlos Santana who has intuitively related to my work with gemstones starting with the first hat I made him. You’ll see some of the hats I’ve humbly and gratefully made for him if you see him in concert and on this site. It’s a joy and a privilege.
